Sun Country Fest at The Sun Patio
Sun Country Fest at The Sun Patio makes its debut at Mohegan Sun on Saturday, July 25, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. The inaugural outdoor festival brings an afternoon and evening of live country music, festival food, games, and summer entertainment to the Sun Patio, culminating with a headlining performance by country music star Lauren Alaina. The lineup also features Connecticut favorites American Honey and Nick Bosse and The Northern Roots.
Known for her powerful vocals and energetic live performances, Lauren Alaina first gained national attention as the runner-up on American Idol before launching a successful country music career with hit songs including Road Less Traveled, Getting Good, and Thicc as Thieves. She’ll take the stage following performances by American Honey at 4:30 p.m. and Nick Bosse and The Northern Roots at 6:00 p.m., giving fans an evening that blends rising local talent with one of country music’s biggest names.
Beyond the music, Sun Country Fest offers a full festival experience with barbecue and Southern-inspired food trucks, country-themed vendors, fire pits, yard games, and an inflatable mechanical bull.
