Weekly Wanderers: Explore Local Trails Every Weekend

Want to get outside more and spend time with other people who like to be outside? Join us this summer for Weekly Wanderers! This series of trail meetups hosted by the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center and Avalonia Land Conservancy is the perfect chance to learn about and enjoy some of Avalonia’s prettiest preserves. Each week, we’ll meet up and take an easy hike through a different preserve, connecting you with other hikers and nature lovers.

Walks are led by knowledgeable guides and are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Each week, we’ll visit a new preserve and highlight some of the area’s beautiful forests, wetlands, streams, and natural wildlife habitats. Bring your friends, your dog, your love of hiking, and your curiosity! Weekly Wanderers is great for anyone who wants to get outside and learn more about the great outdoors.
