Seafood, Sparks & Scholarships at Mitchell College
Seafood, Sparks & Scholarships at Mitchell College combines waterfront dining with one of southeastern Connecticut’s premier fireworks displays while supporting student scholarships. Held on Saturday, July 11, the annual fundraiser invites guests to enjoy an evening on Mitchell Beach overlooking the Thames River before watching the Mashantucket Pequot Thames River Fireworks Extravaganza from a private viewing area.
The event features a tented outdoor dinner, lawn games, cocktails, and a three-course seafood meal, culminating with spectacular views of the fireworks beginning at approximately 9:15 p.m. Guests will also have access to a private deck overlooking the river, reserved parking, and exclusive beach access throughout the evening.
Proceeds from the event benefit Mitchell College’s North Star Scholarship Fund, helping provide educational opportunities for students. During the evening, attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a Crab Raise fundraiser to make an additional contribution in support of scholarships.

Supporting Student Scholarships
A portion of the proceeds benefits Mitchell College’s North Star Scholarship Fund, which helps provide access, opportunity, and support for Mitchell students.
Guests may also participate in the evening’s Crab Raise, an additional fundraising opportunity benefiting scholarships.
