Pride Comedy Night at the UNITED
UNITED Presents Pride Comedy Night Brings Stand-Up Stars to Westerly
UNITED kicks off Pride Month featuring comedians performing jokes that tackle identity, culture, relationships and modern life through different and sometimes unconventional lenses. Tickets for the 18+ show are on sale now for June 19 at 7:30 p.m. local time.
Performing is New York City comic Drew Tessier, who produces the New York Queer Comedy Festival and hosts NYC’s only weekly LGBTQ showcase at one of New York’s largest comedy clubs. Joining Tessier on stage is Jack Sullivan, who you may recognize from MTV and Hulu. Sullivan has performed for big-name comics like Dave Chapelle and Kevin Hart. Hozho Harris will be hosting the night. Harris is an Indigenous comedian and writer whose comedy uses absurd storytelling, physicality, and jokes about identity, power structures, and Indigenous culture to challenge the way people think about the world.
Perfect for comedy enthusiasts, Pride Month celebrators, and more, you can catch these nationally known comedians performing thought-provoking and topical stand-up at the intimate UNITED Theatre.
