Pickle Festival at the Bozrah Farmers Market
The Pickle Festival kicks off the 2026 Bozrah Farmers Market season on Friday, July 3, with an evening celebrating everything pickle-related. Held at Maples Farm Park, this special opening night event combines local farm vendors, artisan products, live music, food trucks, and plenty of dill-inspired fun, making it one of the area’s most unique summer festivals.
Visitors can sample classic dill pickles and creative pickle-inspired treats while shopping for fresh produce, baked goods, handcrafted products, and specialty foods from local farmers and vendors. One of the evening’s biggest attractions is the “Kind of a Big Dill” Pickle Eating Contest. Open to both children and adults, contestants will race to finish an entire pickle for the chance to earn bragging rights and the title of Bozrah’s Biggest Dill. Registration is free and takes place at the market before the competition begins.
