Olde Mistick Village Art Show
Olde Mistick Village Art Show returns across multiple summer and holiday weekends, bringing painters, photographers, jewelers, potters, woodworkers, and mixed-media artists to the walkways of Olde Mistick Village. The outdoor art event takes place June 20–21, July 25–26, and Labor Day weekend September 5–7, transforming the historic shopping village into an open-air showcase filled with original artwork, handcrafted goods, and live creative demonstrations. With free admission and ample parking, the event gives visitors a chance to explore both the artist displays and the village’s shops, restaurants, and summer atmosphere all in one afternoon.
The Father’s Day weekend lineup highlights the wide range of artists and mediums featured throughout the series, including acrylic and oil painters, fused glass artists, underwater photographers, wildlife photographers, ceramicists, woodworkers, illustrators, and mixed-media creators. Visitors can browse everything from seascapes, landscapes, and wildlife paintings to handcrafted pottery, vintage book purses, holographic glass jewelry, carved wooden kitchen utensils, hand-turned pens, and underwater photography printed on aluminum. The variety of styles and materials gives the show the feel of a coastal New England art market spread throughout the village pathways and courtyards.
Set among the brick walkways and Colonial-style buildings of Olde Mistick Village, the art show blends shopping, creativity, and shoreline summer energy into a relaxed weekend outing in Mystic. Visitors can spend the afternoon meeting artists, browsing handmade work, stopping for food or drinks, and exploring more than 40 independent shops surrounding the event. Whether attending during Father’s Day weekend, midsummer in July, or Labor Day weekend, the Olde Mistick Village Art Show offers one of the region’s larger seasonal gatherings focused on local and regional art.
