Groton City Farmers Market Summer 2026
The Groton City Farmers Market returns for its 2026 summer and fall season, bringing fresh Connecticut-grown food, local products, and community spirit to Washington Park every Tuesday from June 9 through October 27. Held at the corner of Mitchell and Meridian Streets from 3 to 6 p.m., the market serves as a gathering place where residents can shop directly from local farmers, food producers, and artisans while supporting small businesses throughout southeastern Connecticut.
While agriculture remains the heart of the market, visitors will find much more than fruits and vegetables. Vendors offer locally sourced meats, poultry, eggs, seafood, baked goods, and specialty food products, all with an emphasis on Connecticut-grown and Connecticut-made offerings. Organizers work to ensure products are clearly identified and locally sourced, helping shoppers make informed choices while supporting the region’s agricultural economy.
