Event Description
Friar Tuck’s Halloween Party brings a late-night dose of Halloween excitement to downtown Mystic on Saturday, October 31, with three DJs, costume contests, and a celebration inspired by the darker side of the holiday.
Beginning at 10 p.m., the popular Water Street gathering spot will welcome costumed partygoers for a Halloween night filled with music, creative outfits, and prizes for some of the evening’s most memorable looks.
The promotional artwork features Freddy Krueger, the infamous nightmare villain from A Nightmare on Elm Street, offering a fitting introduction to a party where spooky style and Halloween creativity take center stage.
Three DJs, One Halloween Night
The evening’s entertainment features J Smith, Alex Walker, and Erica Jade, bringing three DJs together for a Halloween celebration in the heart of Mystic.
With music at the center of the festivities, the party offers an opportunity to gather with friends, show off costumes, and enjoy a night out after the neighborhood trick-or-treating has wrapped up.
The 10 p.m. start makes it a late-night option for those who want to keep the Halloween celebration going.
Dress to Impress — and Win
Halloween costumes are more than just part of the atmosphere at Friar Tuck’s. They’re also the focus of a competition with prizes in three categories.
Sexiest Costume recognizes the evening’s boldest Halloween looks, while Best Duo gives pairs an opportunity to coordinate their creativity.
The Best Overall prize is reserved for the costume that makes the biggest impression.
From elaborate horror characters and recognizable movie villains to imaginative couples’ costumes and original creations, the categories leave plenty of room for guests to express their personalities.
Whether you’re planning a costume weeks in advance or putting together something clever at the last minute, there’s an opportunity to join the fun.
