August 15 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Discovery Station at the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center 10am - 12 pm

Discovery Station at the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center is a monthly family program designed to help children and caregivers explore the natural world together. Through hands-on activities, live animal encounters, and self-guided exploration, participants can discover nature at their own pace while learning about the plants, animals, and habitats that make the region unique.

Each session features themed activity stations where families can investigate natural artifacts, meet animal ambassadors, and participate in interactive learning experiences. A hands-on craft adds a creative element to the program, while a self-guided hike and scavenger hunt encourage participants to continue their discoveries outdoors.

The program is ideal for families with children of all ages who enjoy exploring nature together. Its flexible format allows visitors to move through activities at their own pace, making it an accessible and welcoming experience for a wide range of ages and interests.
