Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday at Mystic Seaport Museum begins three days of patriotic programming with live music, interactive exhibits, family activities, and immersive historical experiences along the Mystic River. As the nation commemorates its 250th anniversary, the Museum brings American history to life through hands-on activities, engaging presentations, and special performances that highlight the people, places, and events that shaped the country.
Visitors can explore the historic Seaport Village, learn how the printing press fueled the American Revolution, experience open-hearth cooking demonstrations, and discover the stories behind Mystic’s role in American history. Families will also enjoy daily activities designed for children, including games, crafts, and the popular American Girl Doll Tea Party.
Throughout the day, guests can enjoy live American Roots music, a Smithsonian Channel documentary, interactive exhibits, and special America 250 programming while exploring one of New England’s premier maritime museums.
