Artists’ Cooperative Gallery of Westerly presents Art in Bloom
rArtists’ Cooperative Gallery of Westerly presents Art in Bloom, a month-long exhibition June 3 – June 28 featuring original artwork accompanied by Ocean Community YMCA Garden Club floral displays. Artwork will fill downtown Westerly with color and creativity.
Featured Artists Kristie Foss and Karen Piazza will show work this year, along with Ninigret Quilters in the Community Gallery. Kristie creates colorful polymer clay dishes and embellishments while Karen captures the beauty of nature through her pottery and watercolor pieces. There will be an opening reception Friday, June 5, from 5-8 p.m. to meet the artists and see the galleries.
Browse unique works by local artists while enjoying beautiful floral arrangements at Art in Bloom. Garden club members will complement visual artists with stunning arrangements designed to inspire creativity and celebrate the joy of art. Whether you’re into visual art, gardening, photography or just want to feed your creative juices, Art in Bloom has something for everyone!
Art in Bloom is part of First Friday activities in downtown Westerly on June 5. The exhibit will be shown throughout the month of June during regular gallery hours.
