2026 Mystic Summer Sounds Concert
2026 Mystic Summer Sounds Concert returns to Mystic River Park for another season of free outdoor music along the waterfront. Hosted by the Noank-Mystic Community Band, the popular summer series takes place at Mystic River Park on Cottrell Street beside the Mystic Drawbridge, offering residents and visitors an opportunity to enjoy live music in one of the shoreline’s most scenic settings.
Concerts are held on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer, with performances generally beginning at 7 p.m. The opening concert on June 9 features Mystic Pipes & Drums at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Noank-Mystic Community Band at 7 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic dinners while enjoying an evening of music overlooking the Mystic River. Admission is free, and alcohol is not permitted in the park.
The series features a diverse lineup of community bands, jazz ensembles, military musicians, and traditional concert bands from across Connecticut and Rhode Island. Whether you enjoy patriotic marches, big band jazz, classical favorites, or contemporary concert music, the Summer Sounds series offers something for every musical taste while celebrating the region’s rich community music tradition.
