Run the Vineyards Jonathan Edwards 5K

Run the Vineyards Jonathan Edwards 5K returns to Jonathan Edwards Winery with a scenic race course that winds through vineyard rows and nearby country roads before finishing back at the winery grounds. The annual event combines a professionally timed 5K with one of the more relaxed post-race atmospheres on the shoreline, bringing together runners, walkers, wine lovers, and casual weekend visitors for a morning outdoors in North Stonington.

After the race, the winery shifts into full social mode with live music, food trucks, award-winning wines, and gathering spaces throughout the property. Participants receive a drink ticket, free race photos, an event shirt, and a souvenir wine glass, helping turn the event into more of a full vineyard experience than a traditional road race. Awards will also be presented to top finishers.

Jonathan Edwards Winery has become one of southeastern Connecticut’s more recognizable vineyard destinations over the years, known for its stone buildings, rolling property, and relaxed countryside atmosphere. Events like Run the Vineyards continue blending the region’s growing winery culture with outdoor recreation and social events that attract both serious runners and people mostly looking for a good excuse to spend time at a vineyard on a spring weekend.

The Run:
Chip-timed 5K race with instant results. Race starts at 9 AM.
Scenic course finishing through the vineyard,.
Awards for Top 3 Overall and Age Group Male & Female Winners (14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, every 10 yrs)

Professionally managed 5K race and one-of-a-kind after-party

1 Hour time limit kindly requested. Need to be registered and start on time at 9 AM behind the runners for safety of all participants.
