As part of Mohegan Sun’s popular Party on the Sun Patio summer concert series, this free outdoor show recreates the feel of a Kenny Chesney concert with beach-inspired anthems, country favorites, and the laid-back energy that has made Chesney one of the most successful touring artists in country music. Formerly known as the No Shoes Nation Band, Redneck Castaway Band is made up of six accomplished New England musicians who faithfully recreate Chesney’s biggest hits while capturing the excitement of his live performances. Fronted by vocalist Danny Wray Bergeron, the group performs favorites like No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems, When the Sun Goes Down, Beer in Mexico, Summertime, Anything But Mine, and many more, delivering the beach-party atmosphere Kenny Chesney fans know and love.
Party on the Sun Patio has become one of Connecticut’s signature summer concert series, offering complimentary live tribute concerts every Friday evening throughout the season. Guests can enjoy food vendors, outdoor bars, specialty cocktails, and the relaxed atmosphere of Mohegan Sun’s open-air patio while listening to live music under the stars. Fire pit reservations are also available for guests looking for reserved seating with cocktail service.
