New England Seafood Supper
New England Seafood Supper brings together fresh local seafood, community spirit, and a meaningful cause on Sunday, June 28, at the Portuguese Holy Ghost Society in the Stonington Borough. The annual fundraiser honors the memory of Joshua Piver while supporting scholarship opportunities for local students, creating an evening that celebrates both community and generosity.
Set in the heart of the Borough, the Portuguese Holy Ghost Society provides an ideal backdrop for a classic New England gathering. Guests can enjoy seafood and side dishes prepared by area restaurants, homemade cookies, entertainment, and a silent auction while spending an evening with friends, neighbors, and supporters from across the region.
Established in memory of Joshua Piver, a Stonington High School Class of 1996 graduate who lost his life at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, the event continues a tradition of giving back to the community. Combining local food, waterfront-town charm, and a worthy cause, the New England Seafood Supper has become one of the summer’s most meaningful community gatherings in the Stonington Borough.
