Mystic Half Marathon & 10K

Mystic Half Marathon & 10K takes runners through one of the most scenic coastal routes in the region, starting at Olde Mistick Village and finishing at Mystic Aquarium. The course winds past historic ships, along the shoreline, and through downtown Mystic, giving participants a mix of water views and small-town atmosphere across both the 13.1-mile half marathon and 6.2-mile 10K options. It’s designed as both a race and an experience, drawing runners who want more than just distance.

All participants receive a technical race shirt and a custom finisher medal tied to the event’s yearly theme, with post-race access to Mystic’s shops, restaurants, and local discounts. The event also connects to the broader Spring Shoreline Challenge, a multi-race series that includes additional runs in April and June, offering a longer-term goal for those looking to stay active across the season.

Families can take part through the HMF FitKids program, which includes shorter races for children ages 2 to 11, making the event accessible beyond adult runners.
