Mullett at Wolf Den
Mullett at Wolf Den brings the sound, spectacle, and gloriously excessive hair of 1980s arena rock to Mohegan Sun on Sunday, August 16. The band takes the stage at 7 p.m. for a free 21+ show built around the era when guitar solos were long, choruses were enormous, and subtlety wasn’t exactly the point.
Since 2010, Mullett has made an entire show out of recreating that period rather than limiting itself to one artist. Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Journey, Mötley Crüe, and other staples of ’80s rock all feed into a performance that combines the songs with the clothes, stage personalities, and over-the-top attitude of the decade.
The Wolf Den should be an especially good fit. It’s an intimate room compared with the arenas where much of this music was born, putting the audience close to the band for what is essentially an ’80s rock party in the middle of Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Earth. Admission is free, but seating is limited and first come, first served.
About Mullett
Mullett has been performing its tribute to 1980s rock since 2010, appearing at casinos, theaters, clubs, corporate events, festivals, and other venues around the country.
Rather than recreating a particular concert or impersonating one famous band, Mullett pulls from the larger arena-rock era. The band’s approach combines faithful musical performances with the visual excess that went with them: big hair, leather, spandex, guitar theatrics, and larger-than-life stage characters.
The current lineup performs under names that leave little doubt about the joke:

Teddy Lee – Bass
Jef Leppard – Drums
Behind the fictional rock-star personas are experienced touring musicians. Sebastian Rock previously spent years performing as Steve Perry in a Journey tribute, while the other members bring backgrounds in touring and live performance to a show that demands more than simply knowing the songs.
What You’ll Hear
Mullett’s show reaches across the big-rock landscape of the 1980s.
Expect music associated with Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Journey, Mötley Crüe and other bands that dominated rock radio, MTV, and arenas during the decade.
That range lets the show move between soaring Journey-style vocals, pop-metal hooks, heavier guitar riffs, and the kind of songs where the audience usually knows the chorus before the microphone gets pointed in its direction.
The presentation matters, too. Mullett treats the visual side of ’80s rock as part of the experience rather than an afterthought. This is supposed to feel like stepping into the decade for a couple of hours, not watching four musicians politely play old songs.
A Free Sunday Night Show
There are no tickets required for Mullett’s Wolf Den performance.
Admission is free for guests 21 and older, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The band begins at 7 p.m., the Wolf Den’s regular Sunday showtime.
When to Get in Line
Guests may begin lining up three hours before the show, making 4 p.m. the earliest permitted lineup time for Mullett.
One person can hold up to four places in line. However, everyone must be present when seating takes place. A person standing in line can’t secure an empty seat inside for someone arriving later.
Because the Wolf Den has limited seating, arriving early is recommended for popular performances.
About the Wolf Den
Located in Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Earth, the Wolf Den has become one of the resort’s signature entertainment spaces by presenting nationally known performers without charging admission.
Its circular, intimate design puts audiences considerably closer to performers than they would be in a traditional theater or arena. Past Wolf Den performers have ranged from classic-rock and country artists to hip-hop acts, including The Marshall Tucker Band, Warrant, Sister Hazel, Chubby Checker, Queensrÿche, Run-DMC, and Ludacris.
