Lyman Orchards Raspberry Festival
Lyman Orchards Raspberry Festival celebrates the arrival of raspberry season with a full day of family-friendly activities, food, entertainment, and summertime fun on Saturday, June 27. Held at the Apple Barrel Farm Market, the festival combines one of Connecticut’s favorite seasonal harvests with live entertainment, hands-on activities, and opportunities to explore the orchard’s beautiful grounds.
Visitors can spend the day picking their own raspberries, enjoying horse-drawn wagon rides, meeting animals at the petting farm, and watching live sculpting demonstrations. Families will find plenty to keep children entertained, including face painting, crafts, a trackless train, yard games, a splash pad, and interactive activities throughout the day. Food trucks, farm market favorites, and a special raspberry-themed sundae add even more reasons to stay awhile.
Live music from The Aquatudes provides the soundtrack for the afternoon while guests browse the festival grounds and enjoy one of the region’s most popular summer traditions. With free admission and activities for all ages, the Raspberry Festival offers a fun way to celebrate the season at one of Connecticut’s best-known orchards.
