L+M Hospital Summer Stride 5K & 10K

June 14 @ 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
LM Hospital Summer Stride 5k and 10k Sunday June 14 8am

L+M Hospital Summer Stride 5K & 10K returns to New London on Sunday, June 14, continuing one of the shoreline’s most popular early-summer running traditions. Whether you’re chasing a personal best, looking for a scenic walk, or simply searching for a fun community event to kick off your Sunday, the race welcomes participants of all ages and abilities along the city’s waterfront.

Runners can choose between a 5K course designed for competitors, walkers, families, and strollers or a faster-paced 10K featuring long straightaways and ocean views along Pequot Avenue. After crossing the finish line, participants can cool off with post-race refreshments, collect a commemorative technical shirt, and celebrate with fellow runners at the post-race party overlooking New London.

The event is also the final stop in the Spring Shoreline Challenge race series, where participants who completed races in April, May, and June earn a special commemorative medal. Families can join in the fun as well with the HMF FitKids Run, featuring quarter-mile and half-mile distances for children ages 2 through 11.
