Life-Sized Mario Party

Life-Sized Mario Party brings the fun of Nintendo’s popular party game off the screen and into the real world on Monday, July 13, at the Gales Ferry Community Center. Designed for children ages 4 and up, this interactive drop-in program transforms participants into the game pieces as they race across a life-sized game board filled with familiar characters, surprises, and challenges.

Players will make their way toward Princess Peach’s Castle by moving across the oversized game board and landing on spaces inspired by the Mario universe. Lucky landings on stars, mushrooms, and Yoshi’s eggs help players advance, while Bowser and Goombas can send them backward before they continue their journey. Every child who reaches the castle earns a reward for completing the adventure.

Hosted by the Ledyard Public Library, this family-friendly event encourages movement, imagination, and cooperative fun while bringing one of gaming’s most recognizable worlds to life.
