The bingo part isn’t merely a name attached to a comedy show.

Every guest receives one bingo card and one dabber. Players who want more chances can purchase additional sheets for $5, with three bingo cards on each uncut sheet.

But conventional bingo is only the framework.

Comix describes the show as mixing adult-themed bingo rounds, risqué mini-games and naughty prizes, with the competition punctuated by comedy and audience interaction.

It’s simultaneously a restaurant, bar, live-music venue and comedy club, with programming ranging from touring stand-up comics and comedy magic to line dancing, live bands, drag bingo, burlesque and other late-night shows.

The September 18 calendar demonstrates the range particularly well.

Comedian Erik Griffin performs at 8 p.m. in the Comedy Club before Adult Bingo takes over the late-night slot at 10.

Elsewhere in the Roadhouse that night, the band He Said She Said is scheduled to perform.

So someone arriving early for bingo doesn’t have to make the show the beginning of the evening.

Dinner Before Naughty Bingo Is an Option

Comix specifically encourages Adult Bingo ticket holders to arrive early and eat in the Roadhouse before the show.

The restaurant serves a broad American roadhouse menu alongside regional craft beer and cocktails, making it possible to turn the event into dinner and a show without leaving Mohegan Sun.

There is a $10 food-and-beverage minimum associated with Adult Bingo.

The venue remains open well after the show’s 10 p.m. starting time on Fridays.

Definitely Not the Bingo You Played With Grandma

There’s a reason Comix keeps emphasizing that distinction in its promotion.

The mechanics are familiar.

The atmosphere isn’t.

This is bingo reworked for a comedy-club crowd: a card and dabber in front of you, comedians onstage, adult humor, suggestive games and prizes that Comix apparently believes are better left to the imagination until you get there.
