After launching in 2025 as a creator-focused gathering built around influencer culture, live events, and online communities meeting in real life, the festival returns in 2026 with a larger lineup and a stronger focus on the personalities audiences already follow daily across TikTok, podcasts, livestreams, and social platforms.
The GenX Takeover show leans heavily into the humor, perspective, and cultural identity of Generation X, mixing stand-up comedy, storytelling, internet culture, and audience connection into a live stage experience designed for fans who grew up between analog and digital worlds. Organizers describe the show as a celebration of authenticity, sarcasm, resilience, and unapologetic honesty, with creators known for turning everyday frustrations, parenting, aging, relationships, and modern culture into viral comedy content.
