Oktoberfest Comes to Downtown Mystic

Engine Room Oktoberfest Brings German Beer and Food Specials to Mystic beginning October 5, giving diners a chance to enjoy German-inspired flavors and seasonal brews at one of downtown Mystic’s popular restaurants.

The celebration features Oktoberfest food and drink specials alongside Engine Room’s regular menu, making it an easy addition to a fall afternoon or evening in Mystic.

German-Inspired Food and Frosty Brews

Oktoberfest may have its roots in Munich, Germany, but Engine Room is bringing a taste of the tradition to southeastern Connecticut.

The restaurant’s seasonal promotion promises frosty brews and German beer hall-inspired food. Rather than replacing its regular offerings, Engine Room is serving the specials alongside its familiar kitchen and bar selections.

That means visitors can sample the Oktoberfest offerings while still having access to the restaurant’s regular menu.

Specific dishes and beer selections have not been announced in the promotion, so guests should check with the restaurant for current offerings.

Make It a Fall Outing

Located at 14 Holmes Street, Engine Room occupies a former industrial building near the Mystic River, within walking distance of downtown shops and attractions.

Its relaxed atmosphere, craft beer selection and comfort-food menu make it a natural setting for an Oktoberfest-inspired meal with friends or family.

Unlike a traditional one-day festival, Engine Room’s celebration begins October 5 and continues as a seasonal promotion.
