Discover Day Camp Groton
Discover Day Camp offers six weeks of summer adventure for children ages 5-12 who have completed kindergarten. Designed to keep kids active, engaged, and having fun throughout the summer, the program features a packed schedule of sports, arts and crafts, outdoor games, literacy activities, drama, music, special events, and water activities, all within a safe and supportive environment.
Each week introduces a new theme that encourages creativity, teamwork, and exploration. Campers can look forward to themed dress-up days, hands-on projects, group activities, and plenty of opportunities to make new friends. The program balances structured activities with outdoor play, creating an environment where children can learn, grow, and enjoy their summer break.
In addition to daily camp activities, families can choose from optional field trips offered throughout the season. Destinations may include popular attractions such as Mystic Aquarium, Lake Compounce, and Ocean Beach. Breakfast and lunch are provided daily, and financial aid is available for qualifying families, helping make the program accessible to more local families.
