Event Description
Death By Disco – Halloween Party @ The Space brings music, dancing, costumes, and a little Halloween mischief to downtown Westerly on Saturday, October 31. Beginning at 8 p.m., the free celebration invites guests to spend Halloween night on the dance floor, enjoy party games, and get into the spooky spirit.
Hosted at The Space, 38 High Street, the evening combines the energy of a dance party with Halloween favorites, including a costume contest, tarot card readings, and scary videos.
And somewhere along the way, everyone gets a chance to do the Time Warp.
A Halloween Party With a Disco Twist
The dance floor is at the heart of the celebration.
Guests can expect music and dancing throughout the evening, with the Halloween theme providing plenty of opportunities to show off a creative costume.
The event also includes games and a costume contest, adding a little friendly competition to the night.
There’s no need to dress up to attend, however. The organizers welcome guests whether they arrive in full Halloween costumes or their regular Saturday-night clothes.
Tarot Cards, Scary Videos, and the Time Warp
Death By Disco isn’t just about dancing.
Tarot card readings and scary videos bring some traditional Halloween atmosphere to the party, while games give guests something to enjoy between trips to the dance floor.
The evening also features the Time Warp, the familiar dance associated with The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It’s a fitting addition to a Halloween celebration that mixes music, costumes, and a playful sense of the macabre.
Whether guests come for the dancing, the costumes, or simply a night out with friends, there will be several ways to join the fun.
Free Admission and Drinks Available
One of the best parts of the evening is the price: admission is completely free.
The Space will have snacks available, along with a cash bar and mocktails for guests who prefer nonalcoholic drinks.
Located in downtown Westerly, the venue makes the party an option for anyone looking to celebrate Halloween without buying an admission ticket.
