BKFC Fight Night at Mohegan Sun Arena
BKFC Fight Night at Mohegan Sun Arena returns Friday, August 21, with an undefeated Bryce Henry facing Carlos “Snake” Trinidad in the welterweight main event of a full night of bare-knuckle fighting.
The action begins at 6 p.m. inside Mohegan Sun Arena, with a card that currently includes eight announced matchups ranging from lightweight through light heavyweight.
The event marks another Connecticut appearance for Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, the promotion that has helped bring sanctioned bare-knuckle fighting back into the combat-sports mainstream.
Bryce Henry vs. Carlos Trinidad Headlines the Night
The main event matches two of BKFC’s most successful active fighters.
Bryce “Baba Yaga” Henry enters undefeated at 7-0 in BKFC. The 6-foot-3 Florida fighter has an 80-inch reach and has competed across multiple weight divisions while developing a reputation for using his unusual length and reach effectively in the Squared Circle.
Henry is coming off a June victory over veteran Julian Lane and will have a relatively quick turnaround before stepping back into the ring at Mohegan Sun.
Waiting for him is Carlos “Snake” Trinidad, who enters with a 7-1 BKFC record.
Trinidad has climbed through BKFC’s ranks since joining the promotion and has already fought in main events. His résumé includes bouts against former world boxing champion Austin Trout and Jimmy Sweeney, with his lone BKFC loss coming against Trout in Dubai in 2025.
That gives Friday’s headliner an unusually strong combined record: Henry and Trinidad enter the fight with 14 BKFC victories against only one defeat.
Cody Vidal Meets Joseph Creer in the Co-Main Event
The co-main event moves up to light heavyweight, where Cody Vidal faces Joseph “Dark Knight” Creer.
Vidal enters with a 4-1 BKFC record. Before moving into bare-knuckle competition, he competed in MMA and made his BKFC debut at KnuckleMania IV. He has since worked his way into a prominent position on Friday’s card.
Creer brings a broader combat-sports background into the matchup. In addition to his BKFC experience, he has competed in MMA and Muay Thai and holds a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt. BKFC lists him at 6-3 in bare-knuckle competition and notes that he has also compiled an undefeated 5-0 professional boxing record.

What Is BKFC?
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship stages bouts in its circular Squared Circle, with fighters competing without traditional boxing gloves.
Despite the name, this isn’t simply an anything-goes fight. BKFC operates under a defined ruleset, with referees, judges, weight divisions and medical oversight. Fighters wrap their wrists and thumbs while leaving the knuckles exposed.
The absence of padded gloves creates a noticeably different style from conventional boxing. Distance, defense and punch selection become especially important, and cuts can have a significant effect on a fight.
BKFC has expanded rapidly since holding its first sanctioned event in 2018 and now stages events throughout the United States and internationally.

The event takes place inside the approximately 10,000-seat Mohegan Sun Arena, which regularly hosts major concerts, professional sports and combat-sports events.
Doors and fight schedules can change, but both BKFC and Mohegan Sun currently list the event for 6 p.m. Friday.
Mohegan Sun offers free self-parking in its garages and Winter Lot. Guests should also be aware of the Arena’s bag restrictions: backpacks, string bags, diaper bags, shopping bags, messenger bags, briefcases and rolling bags are not permitted.
