Beach Bums Children’s Program
Beach Bums Children’s Program introduces young explorers ages 4 to 6 to the wonders of the shoreline through stories, activities, and hands-on learning. Presented by The Watch Hill Conservancy, the free program is designed to spark curiosity about the natural world while helping children develop an appreciation for coastal conservation.

Led by Napatree Naturalists, each session combines a themed children’s story with an interactive activity focused on topics such as horseshoe crabs, shorebirds, hermit crabs, and the protection of local beaches. The program encourages learning through play and discovery, making it an engaging experience for both children and their families.
Parents are required to attend alongside their children, creating an opportunity for shared exploration and learning. Each participant will also receive a small child-safe souvenir to take home as a reminder of their time spent discovering the shoreline.
