Formed in 2017, Carl Ricci & 706 Union Ave quickly earned a reputation for their authentic “Blue Collar Blues” sound and high-energy live performances. Winners of the 2022 Connecticut Blues Society Challenge, the band went on to represent Connecticut at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in 2023. Their performances combine traditional blues influences with American roots music, creating a fresh sound that keeps audiences on the dance floor while honoring the genre’s rich history.
