Steven Spielberg is diving back into science fiction with a high-concept, original blockbuster. RuPaul and an all-star cast of drag entertainers are serving up laughs with one of this summer’s bawdiest comedies. And fans of martial arts movies and blockbuster action are being treated to a vicious, violent blast of punch that’s earning acclaim as one of the best action flicks of recent years.

There’s no denying each of these movies offers something different. Thoughtful sci-fi. Outrageous laughs. Bone-crunching martial arts action. This week it’s easier than ever to find a reason to go to the movies. Figuring out which ticket to buy might be the hard part.

What If We Knew The Truth?

Spielberg returns to the genre he helped bring to prominence with Close Encounters of the Third Kind and E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial with Disclosure Day, a big-budget science fiction thriller that poses one of the oldest questions we can ask as humans: what if you found out you weren’t alone?

Disclosure Day features Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colman Domingo, and Colin Firth tackling multiple narratives that weave together as governments around the world attempt to expose proof of alien contact while secretive organizations do everything they can to keep it hidden.

Critics are calling it everything you’d want from a Spielberg sci-fi spectacle. Big set pieces. A heart. Thought-provoking themes of empathy, truth, faith, and what it means to be human. Many are saying it’s Spielberg returning to form after years of well-made, but mostly nostalgic fare. Disclosure is serving up summer movie excitement alongside nostalgic wonder we haven’t seen since some of his Sci-Fi classics.

It’s playing everywhere:

Drag Queens. A Runaway Train. What Could Go Wrong?

RuPaul isn’t holding back this time. Stop! That! Train! is a star-studded wild comedy. Over-the-top jokes. Ridiculously quotable one-liners. Non-stop action. Featuring appearances from some of pop culture’s biggest icons Ru is inviting you to hop on board and enjoy the ride…even if that ride is headed toward total destruction.

If you like your comedies silly, ridiculous, and dripping with satire, chances are you’re going to fall hard for Stop! That! Train!

It’s only playing at the following theaters:

The Year’s Most Insane Action Movie

You’ll want to plan ahead if The Furious is all you’re planning to see this weekend. It doesn’t take long before the opening credits end, and our heroes embark on a non-stop journey that blends insane fight scenes with relentless violence.

Starring Donnie Yen and likely to become a cult classic, The Furious has drawn comparisons to John Wick. In other words, if you’re itching to see some awesome martial arts scenes and barely any story (there’s not much of one), you can’t go wrong with this throwback action blast.

You can see it at:
