Bozrah Memorial Day Parade

Bozrah Memorial Day Parade returns Saturday, May 23, bringing a full afternoon of remembrance, community tradition, and small-town celebration to Bozrah. The day begins with a memorial service at 11 a.m. at Memorial Park before parade lineup starts at noon ahead of the 1 p.m. kickoff. The 1.5-mile parade route travels from Schwartz Road to the Bozrah Moose Lodge, drawing residents and visitors together for one of the town’s longstanding Memorial Day observances.

This year’s parade will feature two marching bands, including the Deep River Drum Corps, alongside antique and classic cars, trucks, tractors, horse and carriages, local businesses, and community organizations such as the Bozrah Historical Society. The mix of patriotic tradition and classic New England hometown atmosphere gives the event a distinctly local character, with families lining the route and community groups coming together throughout the afternoon.
