Larry the Cable Guy

Larry the Cable Guy is a multiplatinum recording artist, Grammy nominee, Billboard award winner, and one of the most recognizable comedians in the country. He continues to tour nationwide, connect with fans, and expand his brand—including his own merchandise line. He’s also the founder of The Git-R-Done Foundation, named after his signature catchphrase, which has donated more than $8.1 million to charities supporting children and veterans.

Later in 2025, Larry will release a brand-new comedy special featuring all-new material. His previous special, *Remain Seated*, is currently streaming on Netflix. He’s also appeared on FOX’s *The Masked Singer*, showing off a different side of his talent as “Baby.” His earlier Netflix special with Jeff Foxworthy, *We’ve Been Thinking*, remains a fan favorite, and he co-hosts *Jeff and Larry’s Comedy Roundup* on SiriusXM, spotlighting the best of American stand-up.

On screen, Larry has built a long list of film and television credits, including *Jingle All The Way 2*, *A Madea Christmas*, *Tooth Fairy 2*, *Witless Protection*, and *Delta Farce*. His first feature, *Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector*, sold more than one million DVDs in its first week.

He’s also the voice behind Mater in Disney/Pixar’s *Cars* franchise, with the films grossing over $1 billion worldwide. He returned to the role in *Cars 3* and the Disney+ series *Cars on the Road*, cementing the character as one of the most beloved in modern animation.

Larry has hosted and starred in several successful television projects, including *Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy* on History, which ran for three seasons and gave viewers a look at unique American jobs and lifestyles. He also reunited with Jeff Foxworthy and Bill Engvall for the animated series *Bounty Hunters* on CMT.

He first rose to national fame as part of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour alongside Foxworthy and Engvall. The tour grossed over $15 million and led to multiple hit specials, including *Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie*, which became one of Comedy Central’s highest-rated releases and sold more than four million DVDs. Its follow-ups continued that success, with strong ratings and a Grammy nomination for the soundtrack.

His debut album, *Lord, I Apologize* (2001), went gold and spent fifteen weeks at number one on the Billboard Comedy Charts. His follow-up, *Git-R-Done*, sold over one million copies and was certified platinum. *The Right to Bare Arms* made history by debuting at number one across multiple charts, including Comedy, Country, and the Billboard Top 200, earning both a Grammy nomination and gold certification. Other releases, including *Morning Constitutions* and *A Very Larry Christmas*, also topped the charts, with the latter reaching platinum status.

Larry was named Billboard’s Comedy Artist of the Year in 2005 and earned multiple awards for both album and touring success. His bestselling book, *Git-R-Done*, debuted on the *New York Times* bestseller list, and he has appeared on Forbes’ Celebrity 100 list multiple times.

Through it all, his Git-R-Done Foundation, founded with his wife Cara in 2009, continues to support causes including The Arnold Palmer Hospital, Operation Homefront, and Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital.
