Event Description
Halloween Trunk-or-Treat Charity Car Show is bringing decorated cars, candy, costumes, and a good cause together at BMW of New London on Friday, October 30. The family-friendly event runs from 6 to 8 p.m., inviting children to collect Halloween treats while car enthusiasts show off their vehicles.
Presented by Rally for Paws in partnership with BMW of New London, the celebration combines a traditional trunk-or-treat with a charity car show.
Admission is free for spectators and children, while participants displaying a vehicle pay a $20 registration fee. Proceeds from registration and event donations will benefit Rally for Paws.
It’s a chance to enjoy Halloween festivities while helping a nonprofit dedicated to connecting people with life-changing service and companion dog partnerships.
Trick-or-Treating With a Car Show Twist
Instead of walking from house to house, children can visit decorated vehicles for Halloween treats.
Participating car owners are invited to bring their vehicles and join the celebration, creating a lineup of cars that doubles as a trick-or-treat destination.
The combination gives families two attractions in one place: Halloween fun for the kids and a chance to admire cars up close.
Costumes are encouraged, so children can arrive dressed as their favorite superheroes, princesses, monsters, or other Halloween characters.
Families should bring a trick-or-treat bag or bucket for collecting candy.
Cars, Costumes, and Community
The event also offers a gathering place for local car enthusiasts.
Vehicle owners can register their cars for $20 and participate in the show while helping raise money for Rally for Paws.
Spectators can walk among the vehicles, enjoy the Halloween decorations, and see the creativity that participants bring to the evening.
With a mix of decorated cars and costumed children, the event offers a different take on the traditional Halloween celebration.
The announcement does not specify vehicle judging categories or car show awards.
Supporting Rally for Paws
The charity behind the event is Rally for Paws, a nonprofit organization focused on service and companion dog partnerships.
The organization works to support connections between people and dogs that can provide important assistance and companionship.
BMW of New London is partnering with Rally for Paws to host the Halloween celebration and raise money for its mission.
According to the event announcement, proceeds from registration fees and event donations will go directly to Rally for Paws.
For families attending the trunk-or-treat, the event offers an opportunity to enjoy a free evening of Halloween activities while supporting a community cause.
Free Halloween Fun for Families
One of the biggest attractions is the price.
Admission is free for spectators and children, making the event an accessible option for families looking for Halloween activities.
The celebration runs from 6 to 8 p.m., offering two hours of trunk-or-treating and car show fun.
Located at 543 Colman Street in New London, BMW of New London provides the setting for the event.
