The Sean Nelson Jazz Orchestra is a 17-piece ensemble featuring many of New England’s top jazz musicians. The group’s debut album, Social Hour, received critical acclaim following its release on Summit Records, earning international radio airplay and recognition for its vibrant, swinging sound. The orchestra also celebrated the album with a sold-out release concert at the legendary Birdland Jazz Club in New York City.
Known for performances that appeal to both dedicated jazz fans and swing dancers, the orchestra delivers a lively repertoire that celebrates the enduring tradition of big band music.
Concerts on the Green
Hosted by the La Grua Center, Concerts on the Green is a free summer concert series featuring a variety of musical performances in the heart of Stonington Borough.
