“Celebrate New London” Fireworks Cruise

“Celebrate New London” Fireworks Cruise offers a front-row seat to one of southeastern Connecticut’s biggest summer celebrations from the waters of the Thames River. Departing from Fort Trumbull State Park Dock on Saturday, July 11, the evening cruise combines a scenic river excursion with an opportunity to watch the Celebrate New London fireworks display from the water.

Operated by Thames River Heritage Park, the cruise begins with a narrated journey down the Thames River before heading toward New London Harbor. Weather and boat traffic permitting, the vessel will cruise to New London Ledge Lighthouse before returning to a prime viewing location for the fireworks, giving passengers an unforgettable perspective of the display away from the crowds on shore.

With three departure times available, the Fireworks Cruise is an ideal way for families, couples, and visitors to experience one of the region’s signature summer events. Guests are welcome to bring snacks and beverages aboard while enjoying an evening on the river.
