Lyman Orchards Blueberry Festival
Lyman Orchards Blueberry Festival celebrates one of summer’s sweetest harvests with a day packed with family activities, live entertainment, food, and blueberry-themed treats on Saturday, July 18. Held at the Apple Barrel Farm Market, the festival combines pick-your-own blueberries with hands-on activities, live music, and attractions designed for visitors of all ages.
Guests can spend the day exploring the orchard, taking horse-drawn wagon rides, visiting the petting farm, riding the trackless train, and participating in crafts and interactive exhibits. The festival also features face painting, gem mining, food trucks, and an Energy in Action Mobile Learning Experience. A special blueberry sundae will be available at the Apple Barrel Patio, giving visitors a delicious way to celebrate the season.
Live entertainment throughout the day includes performances by School of Rock North Haven and the Hartford Hot Several Brass Band. The popular pie-eating contest returns as well, inviting both kids and adults to test their skills in a fun summertime tradition. With free admission and a full schedule of activities, the Blueberry Festival offers a memorable day at one of Connecticut’s most beloved orchards.
