Blessing of the Fleet & Chowder Cook-Off

Sunday, June 14th is shaping up to be a great day at Pilots Point Marina. Duck Island Yacht Club is hosting its Blessing of the Fleet. This boating-focused maritime tradition honors our access to the water and kicks off our boating season. It’s an afternoon gathering of boaters and their families on the waterfront.
Along with attending the blessing ceremony, guests can try delicious selections from area restaurants during the Chowder Cook-Off. Restaurants from around the shoreline will be competing for the award of Best Clam Chowder on the Shoreline. Attendees can sample all of the entries and cast their vote for their favorite while spending an enjoyable afternoon at the marina.
