Denison Pequotsepos Horseshoe Crab Walk at Napatree

Denison Pequotsepos Horseshoe Crab Walk at Napatree offers a rare chance to explore one of the most beautiful and ecologically important stretches of coastline in southern New England during one of the most active times of year for horseshoe crabs. Hosted along Napatree Point Conservation Area in the village of Watch Hill, the evening program guides participants across the shoreline as horseshoe crabs emerge to mate and lay eggs along the beach. With the Atlantic Ocean on one side and Little Narragansett Bay on the other, Napatree feels almost untouched in places, a long sandy peninsula shaped by storms, tides, dunes, and protected coastal habitat.
