Timeless Blooms: Sola Wood Flower Wreath Workshop

May 15 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Timeless Blooms SOla Wood Flower Wreath Workshop at the Mystic Museum of Art

Timeless Blooms: Sola Wood Flower Wreath Workshop offers a hands-on floral design experience centered around creating spring wreaths using long-lasting sola wood flowers. Led by instructor Lisa Kelly, the workshop guides participants through the process of building decorative wreaths that combine the look of fresh florals with materials designed to last season after season without fading or wilting.

During the session, guests will learn how to stem and arrange sola wood flowers onto either a traditional grapevine wreath base or a modern wood-bead frame. Instruction covers everything from floral preparation and composition to securing arrangements properly for balance and durability. The workshop is designed to be approachable for beginners while still offering enough creative flexibility for participants to personalize their final wreath design.

One of the biggest appeals of sola wood flowers is their permanence. Unlike fresh flowers, the handcrafted blooms maintain their appearance indefinitely when kept dry, making them ideal for home décor or gifts that continue looking fresh long after spring ends. All materials are included through a separate $40 supply fee paid directly to the instructor, and each participant leaves with a completed wreath ready to display immediately after the workshop concludes.
