The Colchester Food Truck Festival returns for a full three-day weekend, bringing food, live music, and family-friendly activities to the Colchester Town Green. Set in the center of town, the festival creates an easygoing atmosphere where people can drop in, spend a few hours, and let the day unfold around good food and live entertainment.

The weekend kicks off Friday, May 1, from 5 PM to 9 PM with a focused lineup of food trucks and live music, featuring Red Zone: The Rock Show from 6 to 9 PM. Saturday, May 2, runs from 11 AM to 8 PM, followed by Sunday, May 3, from 11 AM to 7 PM. Live bands take the stage Friday and Saturday, while DJ Ray Paul keeps things going with a mix of crowd favorites on Saturday and Sunday.

Beyond the food and music, there’s plenty built in for families. Kids can enjoy bouncy houses and face painting for a small fee, while Sunday features a free-to-visit petting zoo. Food trucks from across Connecticut are joined by vendors traveling from throughout New England, creating a mix of flavors and local goods that make it easy to spend the day. Admission is free, making it one of those low-pressure, high-reward events that’s easy to add to the weekend.
