Ocean Community Moms Sip & Stroll
Ocean Community Moms Sip & Stroll gives mothers and caregivers a welcoming way to connect while enjoying one of Rhode Island’s most charming coastal communities. Held on Monday mornings throughout August, the weekly gathering begins at 9:00 a.m. at Junk & Java on Beach Street before setting off on a relaxed, stroller-friendly walk around the area.
Hosted by Ocean Community Moms, the event welcomes moms and babies of all ages for an informal morning of conversation, fresh air, and community. Participants can grab their favorite coffee or specialty drink before their stroll. Whether you’re new to the area or hoping to meet other local parents, Sip & Stroll offers a relaxed setting to build friendships while enjoying Westerly in the summer.
The morning begins at Junk & Java, a longtime local favorite at 49 Beach Street known for its handcrafted espresso drinks, fresh coffee, baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, and eclectic gift shop. The cozy café has become a gathering place for both residents and visitors, making it the perfect starting point before the group heads out for an easy walk together through the heart of Westerly.
