Princess Academy and Royal Tea at Essex Steam Train

Princess Academy and Royal Tea at Essex Steam Train returns for its third year, inviting young princes and princesses to enjoy a magical royal adventure on July 11, 12, 18, and 19. Designed for children ages 10 and under, this enchanting experience transforms Essex Station into a fairy tale kingdom where aspiring royalty can dress in their finest attire, meet beloved royal characters, and create memories aboard the historic Essex Steam Train.

The festivities begin in the Grand Ballroom at Essex Station, where the Belle of the Valley and her royal companions welcome guests for an afternoon of crafts, music, and royal etiquette. Princesses will decorate sparkling tiaras and scepters at the Courtly Creations Station, learn graceful manners at the Majestic Finishing School, and practice a favorite song before making a grand Coronation Promenade down the red carpet to board the train. Knights will decorate magical swords and learn heroic moves to help protect their kingdom.

The celebration continues aboard the Essex Steam Train with a Royal Tea featuring sweets and snacks fit for royalty. Parents are invited to cheer on their young royals and capture photos during the Coronation Promenade, while adults can relax with a complimentary prosecco or soft drink at the Queen’s Pub before enjoying the magical train ride.
