Strawberry Festival & Craft Show

Berry Sweet Family Fun Awaits at the Strawberry Festival & Craft Show brings two days of strawberries, food trucks, live music, and family activities to the North Stonington Fairgrounds as the region shifts into summer festival season. The event transforms the fairgrounds into a celebration of all things strawberry, from classic strawberry shortcake to chocolate-covered strawberries and fresh strawberry lemonade served throughout the weekend. With free admission and a mix of food, shopping, and entertainment, the festival is designed to feel like a laid-back early summer gathering with something happening around every corner.

More than 30 crafters and vendors are expected to participate, giving visitors plenty of opportunities to browse handmade goods, specialty items, and local products between trips to the food trucks and dessert stands. Organizers are also planning live music performances and ongoing family-friendly activities across both days of the festival, creating the kind of atmosphere where people tend to stay longer than they originally planned. The mix of fairground energy, seasonal treats, and outdoor entertainment gives the event an unmistakably New England small-town festival feel.

The Strawberry Festival & Craft Show takes place Saturday, May 30 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 31 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the North Stonington Fairgrounds on Wyassup Road. With food trucks, live entertainment, shopping, and strawberry-themed treats spread across the grounds, the event offers an easy excuse to spend an afternoon outdoors celebrating the unofficial start of summer in southeastern Connecticut.
