SUMMARY:Thrift Finds & Vineyard Vibes Pairs a Community Thrift Market With Wine and Live Music
DESCRIPTION:Thrift Finds & Vineyard Vibes Pairs a Community Thrift Market With Wine and Live Music Oct. 3 at Stonington Vineyards\, where a three-hour secondhand shopping market gives way to an afternoon of acoustic music\, food and wine among the vines. \nThe Steal My Style Market runs from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday\, followed by an overlapping performance from Mystic singer-songwriter Izzy Malek from 3 to 6 p.m. Food for the afternoon comes from The Grill by Kay. \nThat overlap between 3 and 4 p.m. should be the sweet spot: thrift vendors still selling\, Malek beginning her set\, food being served and the vineyard open for wine. \nThis Is More Closet Sale Than Vintage Show\nThe thrift market is a little different from the artisan and vintage markets that have become fixtures on the fall calendar. \nSteal My Style Market is built around ordinary people opening up their closets and giving their clothes another life. Organizers describe sellers as neighbors\, students\, parents\, teachers\, coworkers and other members of the community rather than exclusively professional vintage dealers. \nShoppers can expect a broad mix that may include everyday clothing\, designer labels\, vintage pieces\, current styles\, shoes\, handbags and accessories. \nThat also means this isn’t a carefully standardized retail experience. Individual sellers determine what they bring\, and the inventory depends on whose closets are represented that afternoon. \nFor someone who enjoys thrifting\, that’s part of the appeal. There is no way to know what might be sitting on the next rack. \nThe market is open to all ages\, and parking is free. \nThen Izzy Malek Takes Over the Vineyard\nThe shopping doesn’t mark the end of the afternoon. \nAt 3 p.m.\, Izzy Malek begins a three-hour live set running until 6 p.m.\, giving market visitors an easy reason to stick around after making their last trip through the racks. \nMalek is a Mystic-area singer-songwriter who performs regularly around southeastern Connecticut\, with an acoustic sound suited to the vineyard’s outdoor weekend setting. \nThe timing also creates an hour when the two parts of the event happen simultaneously. From 3 to 4 p.m.\, visitors can continue shopping while the live music gets underway. \nAfter the thrift vendors wrap at 4\, Malek continues for another two hours. \nThe Grill by Kay Handles the Food\nThe Grill by Kay will be at the vineyard for the afternoon. \nThe family-owned food business operates both a mobile food trailer and a kitchen at JD’s Roadhouse in Baltic\, along with catering services. \nIts mobile menu is known for paninis and comfort-food dishes\, giving visitors something considerably more substantial than snacks while spending an afternoon at the vineyard. \nThe exact menu for Saturday has not been published\, so specific dishes shouldn’t be assumed in advance. \nNearly 40 Years of Winemaking in Stonington\nThe setting adds another dimension to what otherwise might be a simple afternoon thrift market. \nNick and Happy Smith purchased the property that became Stonington Vineyards in 1987\, establishing the vineyard on 58 acres in the Stonington Uplands. The winery followed in 1989. \nStonington went on to become one of the founding members of the Connecticut Wine Trail. \nWinemaker Mike McAndrew has been associated with the winery since its earliest years\, helping establish a wine program particularly known for its Chardonnay and proprietary blends. \nToday\, the property combines the working vineyard and winery with a tasting room and outdoor areas that regularly host musicians\, food vendors and seasonal pop-ups. \nOn Saturday\, the vineyard is scheduled to remain open from noon until 7 p.m.\, an hour before the thrift market begins and an hour after Malek’s performance ends. \nMake an Afternoon of It\nThis is one of those events where the schedule makes more sense as an afternoon than as a single stop. \nArrive after the market opens at 1 and spend some time going through the clothing and accessories. Grab something from The Grill by Kay. Visit the tasting room or settle outside with wine. At 3\, Malek starts playing. The thrift market continues until 4\, and the music carries the afternoon through 6. \nWine tastings are currently listed at $16 and include a keepsake glass. The vineyard also offers flights consisting of three 3-ounce pours\, although flights are weather-dependent. \nVisitors may bring their own food\, but outside alcohol is prohibited. Dogs are permitted in the outdoor areas when kept on a leash\, but aren’t allowed inside the tasting room or winery buildings. \nThe combination is pleasantly uncomplicated: hunt through somebody else’s closet\, find something you didn’t know you wanted\, order some food\, pour a glass of Connecticut wine and let the music take over from there. \nMore information is available at the Event Website link below. \nDetails\nEvent: Thrift Finds & Vineyard Vibes\nDate: Saturday\, Oct. 3\, 2026\nLocation: Stonington Vineyards\nAddress: 523 Taugwonk Road\, Stonington\, CT 06378\nVineyard Hours: Noon–7 p.m.\nThrift Market: Steal My Style Market\, 1–4 p.m.\nLive Music: Izzy Malek\, 3–6 p.m.\nFood: The Grill by Kay\nMarket Merchandise: Secondhand clothing\, vintage pieces\, designer labels\, contemporary styles\, shoes\, handbags and accessories\nAges: All ages\nParking: Free\nWine Tastings: Currently $16 with a keepsake glass\nWine Flights: Three 3-ounce pours; availability is weather-dependent\nOutside Food: Permitted\nOutside Alcohol: Not permitted\nDogs: Leashed dogs permitted outdoors; not permitted inside the tasting room or winery buildings\nWeather: Some activities take place outdoors; check with the vineyard and event organizers for any weather-related changes \n\nFeatured image is an artistic representation inspired by the event and may not depict the actual people\, location\, or activities shown.

SUMMARY:Thirsty Thursdays Brings Nick Bosse (Bosse postponed. Rickie Louise Miller is playing)
DESCRIPTION:NOTE: Bosse postponed. Rickie Louise Miller is playing. \n  \nThirsty Thursdays Brings Nick Bosse\, Food Trucks\, and a Beer Garden to Deans Mill Farm on Thursday\, Oct. 1\, turning a historic Stonington farm into an outdoor country-music hangout with drinks\, dinner and three hours of live music. \nThe weekly series runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and is free to attend\, with rotating food trucks and drinks available for purchase from the farm’s seasonal Beer Garden. \nThis week also brings a particularly local performer to the farm. \nNorth Stonington singer-songwriter Nick Bosse has built an increasingly large following well beyond southeastern Connecticut while making a deliberate case for country music that sounds more like Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard than contemporary pop-country. \nCountry Music From North Stonington to Nashville\nBosse is a New England-based singer-songwriter and Nashville recording artist whose music draws from traditional country\, Southern rock and bluegrass. \nHis career started modestly. \nBosse began playing cover gigs in local bars in 2013 before forming The Northern Roots\, his Connecticut and Rhode Island-based backing band. \nThe local shows eventually led to original music and trips south to record in Nashville. \nHis breakout song\, “What Happened to Country\,” was released in 2021 and has since surpassed 2 million streams. \nThe title pretty effectively explains Bosse’s musical philosophy. \nHis influences include Johnny Cash\, Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings along with more recent artists such as Sturgill Simpson and Tyler Childers. The result is modern country built around guitars\, storytelling and a rougher traditional-country sound rather than highly polished country-pop production. \nThat approach has earned Bosse a New England Music Award for Best Vocalist\, while he and The Northern Roots have appeared at venues including Foxwoods\, Mohegan Sun and The UNITED in Westerly. \nHe’s also become a familiar presence around Stonington\, playing vineyards\, festivals\, restaurants and community events throughout the region. \nThe Farm Is Part of the Experience\nThirsty Thursdays isn’t taking place in a conventional music venue. \nDeans Mill Farm Bed & Breakfast occupies more than 70 acres off Pequot Trail in Stonington\, with open fields\, meadows\, wooded areas\, historic buildings and an active equestrian operation sharing the property. \nThe farm’s history stretches back to the mid-1700s. \nToday\, the property has been restored and adapted into an event venue and lodging destination while retaining the landscape that gives the place much of its character. \nThe grounds are also home to Dragonfly Equestrian Center\, with dozens of horses on the property\, and Dragonfly Disc Golf\, a 19-hole course winding around the equestrian center through woods and changing terrain. \nFor Thirsty Thursdays\, however\, the destination is the farm’s seasonal Beer Garden. \nA Beer Garden in the Middle of a Farm\nThe concept is deliberately uncomplicated. \nFind a place outside\, grab something from the food truck\, get a beer or another drink and listen to music. \nThe Beer Garden serves local craft beer\, wine\, canned cocktails and other cold beverages\, while food trucks rotate through the property during the season. \nThirsty Thursdays have been running weekly throughout the warmer months\, with live music scheduled from local and regional performers. \nIt’s the kind of recurring event where the venue matters almost as much as who’s playing. \nInstead of sitting inside a club\, audiences are spending the early evening on a Stonington farm surrounded by fields and an equestrian property as the sun begins dropping. \nAnd the Thursday series is only half of Deans Mill Farm’s regular music schedule. The farm has also been hosting Sunday performances during the season\, turning the Beer Garden into a recurring outdoor music destination rather than simply an occasional event space. \nOne of the Last Thirsty Thursdays of the Season\nBy late September\, these evenings begin feeling a little different than they did in June. \nThe sun disappears earlier. The temperature starts dropping after dinner. And the outdoor music calendar that seemed endless at the beginning of summer suddenly has only a few weeks remaining. \nDeans Mill Farm currently plans to continue Thirsty Thursdays through October\, weather permitting. \nThat last part matters. \nThe series is outdoors\, and performances can change because of weather or other conditions. The farm advises visitors to check for updates before heading over. \nThe event is family-friendly and free to attend. \nThere are a couple of important farm rules: no animals and no outside alcohol. \nFood and drinks are purchased separately. \nFor Bosse\, Thursday’s setting also makes unusual sense. \nMuch of his music romanticizes the kind of rural\, working-land world that traditional country grew out of. On Thursday night\, he gets to play it on an actual Stonington farm. \nMore information is available at the Event Website link below. \nDetails\nEvent: Thirsty Thursdays at Deans Mill Farm with Nick Bosse\nDate: Thursday\, Oct. 1\, 2026\nTime: 5:30–8:30 p.m.\nLocation: Deans Mill Farm\nAddress: 1189 Pequot Trail\, Stonington\, CT 06378\nAdmission: Free\nMusic: Nick Bosse\nStyle: Country\, Southern rock and roots music\nFood: Food trucks on site; selections vary\nDrinks: Local craft beer\, wine\, canned cocktails and other beverages available for purchase\nSetting: Outdoor Beer Garden on the farm\nFamily Friendly: Yes\nAnimals: No animals permitted\nOutside Alcohol: Not permitted\nWeather: Weather permitting; times and programming are subject to change\nEvent Contact: Kayla Simon\, 860-245-5487 \n  \n  \nFeatured image is an artistic representation inspired by the event and may not depict the actual people\, location\, or activities shown.

SUMMARY:$25 Girl Dinner Turns Thursday Night Into a Three-Course Deal at Favorites Bistro Bar
DESCRIPTION:$25 Girl Dinner Turns Thursday Night Into a Three-Course Deal at Favorites Bistro Bar Sept. 24\, offering a choice of appetizer\, entrée\, and cocktail for roughly the price of a single dinner entrée at many restaurants. \nAnd despite the name\, this isn’t a women-only event. \nFavorites describes its weekly Girl Dinner as a night for girlfriends\, couples\, families or anyone simply looking for dinner out. The event is open to the public\, casual\, and requires no special admission beyond the $25 dinner. \nThe real attraction is what that $25 buys. \nGuests choose one of five appetizers\, one of three entrées\, and one drink\, including wine\, a mimosa\, or the evening’s featured house cocktail. \nFirst\, Pick an Appetizer\nThe opening course has considerably more choice than a typical prix fixe promotion. \nGuests can choose a house garden salad with fresh greens\, tomatoes\, cucumbers\, and house dressing; steamed mussels simmered in a rich garlic tomato sauce; pan-seared dumplings filled with shrimp or jerk pork and served with a house dipping sauce; crispy wings tossed in a signature sauce; or loaded fries topped with crispy fries\, bacon and Parmesan cheese. \nThen comes the entrée. \nThe Signature Rasta Pasta combines a creamy\, spicy sauce with onions and bell peppers\, a dish that fits particularly well with Favorites’ Caribbean identity. \nThere’s also Honey Mustard Salmon\, with pan-seared glazed salmon served over garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables\, or a Garden Stir-Fry Veggies option built around fresh vegetables and greens. \nThen There’s the Cocktail\nThe $25 package also includes one drink. \nGuests choose between the featured house cocktail\, a glass of red\, white or rosé wine\, or a mimosa. \nThat makes the pricing stand out when compared with Favorites’ regular dinner menu. \nThe restaurant currently lists its Rasta Pasta at $18 and salmon at $27 before adding an appetizer or drink. Regular appetizers include $12 honey jerk wings and $15 mussels\, while cocktails and wine are normally purchased separately. \nGirl Dinner essentially bundles the whole evening into a single price. \nFavorites Is More Haitian Than the Word “Bistro” Suggests\nThe restaurant itself is worth knowing because the name doesn’t reveal much about what’s happening in the kitchen. \nFavorites Bistro Bar is a Black-owned restaurant run by Majan and Ederjson Pierre\, and its food draws heavily from Haitian and Caribbean cooking. \nMajan Pierre has described what Favorites does as Haitian street food\, bringing flavors and dishes associated with Haiti into a contemporary downtown restaurant and cocktail-bar setting. \nThat influence shows up throughout the regular menu. \nThere are oxtail rangoons filled with braised oxtail and ricotta\, jerk chicken\, sweet plantains\, black beans and rice\, honey jerk wings\, Rasta Pasta and dishes seasoned with epis\, the aromatic seasoning base fundamental to Haitian cooking. \nFavorites also uses pikliz\, Haiti’s sharply flavored pickled vegetable condiment\, alongside several dishes. \nThe result isn’t a restaurant attempting to reproduce a traditional Haitian menu from beginning to end. Instead\, Caribbean ingredients and techniques move freely into familiar American restaurant formats. \nAn oxtail becomes the filling for a rangoon. Jerk flavors appear in chicken wings and sandwiches. Caribbean seasoning meets pasta\, burgers\, tacos and brunch dishes. \nThat crossover is part of the restaurant’s identity. \nA Restaurant Entering Its Fourth Year\nFavorites is still relatively young. \nThe restaurant opened on Bank Street in 2023\, and this spring celebrated its third anniversary with something of a second beginning. \nIn April\, the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut and Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting marking Favorites’ grand reopening and expansion into lunch service. \nThe restaurant had evolved beyond its original dinner operation\, adding daytime hours and updating its menu while retaining the Caribbean flavors around which it was built. \nToday\, lunch brings dishes such as jerk pork sliders\, orange chicken tacos\, short rib melts\, chicken and waffles and Rasta Pasta. \nDinner moves toward larger plates\, including oxtail with rice\, black beans and sweet plantains; jerk chicken; braised short ribs; steak frites; salmon; and tomato shrimp pasta. \nSunday has developed an identity of its own with brunch\, including chicken and waffles and crème brûlée French toast. \n“Girl Dinner” Has Changed Quite a Bit\nThere’s also a little cultural joke hiding behind the name of Thursday’s promotion. \n“Girl dinner” exploded as a social-media phrase in 2023\, originally describing the kind of improvised meal someone might assemble when cooking an actual dinner felt unnecessary: cheese\, crackers\, fruit\, bread\, leftovers or whatever else happened to be available. \nIt was less a recipe than permission to call a collection of snacks dinner. \nRestaurants eventually began borrowing the phrase for specials aimed at turning the idea into a night out. \nFavorites has taken that transformation nearly to its logical extreme. \nThere aren’t any crackers standing in for dinner here. \nFor $25\, the restaurant’s version involves an appetizer\, a plated entrée and a cocktail. \nAnd although the name survived the transition\, Favorites makes a point of saying everyone is invited. \nThursday Night on Bank Street\nGirl Dinner begins at 6 p.m. Thursday at Favorites Bistro Bar at 90 Bank Street in downtown New London. \nThe promotion isn’t limited to Sept. 24. Favorites has scheduled it as a recurring Thursday event into the fall\, making this week’s dinner part of an ongoing series rather than a one-night special. \nThe restaurant describes the atmosphere as relaxed and encourages people to come with friends\, partners or family\, or simply come on their own. \nThat may ultimately be the smartest part of the promotion. \nAt a time when dinner and a cocktail can quickly turn into a considerably more expensive night out\, Favorites has made the offer remarkably easy to understand: \nPick an appetizer. \nPick an entrée. \nPick a drink. \nPay $25. \nMore information is available at the Event Website link below. \nDetails\nEvent: Girl Dinner on Thursdays\nDate: Thursday\, Sept. 24\, 2026\nStarts: 6 p.m.\nLocation: Favorites Bistro Bar\nAddress: 90 Bank Street\, New London\, CT 06320\nPrice: $25\nIncludes: One appetizer\, one entrée and one craft cocktail\, glass of wine or mimosa\nAppetizer Choices: House Garden Salad\, Steamed Mussels\, Pan-Seared Dumplings\, Crispy Wings or Loaded Fries\nEntrée Choices: Signature Rasta Pasta\, Honey Mustard Salmon or Garden Stir-Fry Veggies\nDrink Choices: Featured house cocktail\, glass of red/white/rosé wine or mimosa\nWho Can Attend: Open to the public; despite the “Girl Dinner” name\, everyone is welcome\nDress: Casual\nReservations: The event listing says guests may simply show up.\nPhone: 860-446-6188 \n  \n\nFeatured image is an artistic representation inspired by the event and may not depict the actual people\, location\, or activities shown.

SUMMARY:Ben Freiert Live at Kingdom of the Hawk Vineyard
DESCRIPTION:Ben Freiert performs at Kingdom of the Hawk Vineyard in North Stonington on Sunday\, September 6\, bringing an afternoon of acoustic rock\, indie\, folk and alternative music to one of southeastern Connecticut’s newer vineyard destinations. \nThe music runs from 3 to 5 p.m.\, with Freiert performing as part of Kingdom of the Hawk’s weekend live music series. Fire in the Kitchen Pizza will also be on site Sunday\, pairing the performance with wood-fired pizza and wine\, with Connecticut craft beer and cider available from the vineyard. \nOne important detail for this date: Kingdom of the Hawk says its 5 p.m. closing will be prompt on September 6 because of a private event afterward. \nBen Freiert Has Been Making Music for More Than Two Decades\nFreiert is a Stonington-area musician whose history goes considerably further back than the local acoustic shows where many listeners may know him today. \nHe began playing music more than two decades ago\, starting with trumpet in middle school. While in college\, he formed the original rock band Twenty Grand with his roommate\, performing near their school and in New York City. \nHis current performances move among indie\, folk and alternative music\, with Freiert playing both guitar and piano. \nLocal music resource Wailing City describes him more broadly as a rock\, covers and acoustic performer\, which helps explain the variety of venues where he appears around southeastern Connecticut. \nThis summer alone\, Freiert has been part of several regional outdoor music series. In August\, he performed at Deans Mill Farm and headlined one of Stonington Vineyards’ Friday Summer Concert Series dates. \nFrom Covers to Original Music\nFreiert isn’t limited to interpreting other artists’ material. \nIn 2024\, he released the original single “Let Yourself Go\,” adding recorded original music to a live career that has often mixed familiar songs with indie and alternative influences. \nThat balance makes him particularly well suited to the vineyard circuit\, where the music has to work both for listeners who settle in specifically to hear the performer and guests who are spending an afternoon talking over wine with friends. \nThe September 6 appearance gives him two hours at Kingdom of the Hawk rather than functioning as a short opening set. \nFire in the Kitchen Pizza Joins the Afternoon\nSunday’s music is paired with Fire in the Kitchen Pizza\, which Kingdom of the Hawk has scheduled as its food vendor for the afternoon. \nThe vineyard asks guests to support its visiting food trucks and vendors when they’re on site and specifically requests that visitors not bring outside food or picnics on those days. \nThat’s worth knowing before packing for the afternoon. \nKingdom of the Hawk normally allows guests to bring their own food when there isn’t a food vendor present\, but September 6 is one of the exceptions. \nOutside alcohol is never permitted. \nWine by the Glass or Bottle\, But No Tastings\nKingdom of the Hawk operates a little differently from some Connecticut wineries. \nThe vineyard currently does not offer traditional wine tastings or flights. \nInstead\, its wines are available by the glass or bottle to share. The tasting room also carries a rotating selection of Connecticut craft beer and cider. \nCheese\, charcuterie\, crackers and other smaller bites are normally available for purchase in addition to the visiting food vendors scheduled on select weekends. \nVisitors who haven’t been to Kingdom of the Hawk before shouldn’t arrive expecting a structured wine flight followed by the concert. This is much more of a settle-in-with-a-glass-or-bottle afternoon. \nOne of Southeastern Connecticut’s Newest Vineyard Destinations\nKingdom of the Hawk is relatively new\, but the people behind it have much deeper roots in Connecticut wine. \nOwners Michael and Merrily Connery purchased the North Stonington property in 2018 and planted vines almost immediately. \nThe couple also owns Saltwater Farm Vineyard in Stonington\, where they famously transformed a former World War II-era airplane hangar and surrounding farmland into a vineyard and winery. \nKingdom of the Hawk became their second vineyard project. \nThe North Stonington property encompasses approximately 50 acres of farmland\, with the vineyard surrounded by woods and wildlife. \nIts name isn’t simply decorative. Hawks are regularly seen over the property. \nThe Barn Is Part of the Attraction\nThe building in Freiert’s concert announcement isn’t an old New England barn that happened to survive on the property. \nIt’s contemporary architecture deliberately designed to evoke one. \nMichael Connery has described wanting a “barn sensibility” while keeping the building contemporary. \nThe result combines a traditional agricultural form with modern materials and large expanses of glass\, positioned on the edge of a hill overlooking the vineyard\, fields and surrounding landscape. \nThat gives Kingdom of the Hawk a noticeably different character from a tasting room inserted into an existing farm building. \nThe architecture was designed as part of the vineyard experience from the beginning. \nOn a Sunday afternoon\, that means Freiert’s performance isn’t simply taking place inside a winery. The music is part of a larger setting of vineyard rows\, open lawn\, woods and the modern barn overlooking the property. \nIndoor Reservations Are Available\, Outdoor Space Is First Come\nReservations aren’t required for a casual visit\, although Kingdom of the Hawk recommends them for larger groups wanting indoor seating. \nReservations apply only to indoor tables. \nThe vineyard does not reserve outdoor seating or its fireside lounge areas. \nThat distinction matters on live-music afternoons\, when outdoor spaces can become popular. \nVisitors interested in a particular outdoor spot should plan accordingly rather than assuming a reservation guarantees one. \nA Sunday Afternoon Before an Early Close\nMost Sundays\, Kingdom of the Hawk is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. \nSeptember 6 follows those hours\, but the vineyard has emphasized that the 5 p.m. close is firm because a private event follows the public tasting-room hours. \nFreiert’s performance has therefore been scheduled to fit exactly into the final two hours of the public day. \nMusic begins at 3 p.m. \nFire in the Kitchen Pizza will be there. \nWine\, Connecticut beer and cider will be available. \nAnd at 5 p.m.\, the afternoon comes to an end. \nEvent Details\nEvent: Ben Freiert Live at Kingdom of the Hawk Vineyard\nDate: Sunday\, September 6\, 2026\nMusic: 3–5 p.m.\nVineyard Hours: 11 a.m.–5 p.m.\nVenue: Kingdom of the Hawk Vineyard\nAddress: 113 Pendleton Hill Road\, North Stonington\, CT 06359\nPerformer: Ben Freiert\nMusic: Acoustic\, rock\, indie\, folk and alternative\nFood: Fire in the Kitchen Pizza\nDrinks: Kingdom of the Hawk wine by the glass or bottle\, plus Connecticut craft beer and cider\nTastings/Flights: Not currently offered\nOutside Food: The vineyard asks guests not to bring outside food when a food truck or vendor is on site\nOutside Alcohol: Not permitted\nImportant: The vineyard will close promptly at 5 p.m. for a private event \n  \nFeatured image is an artistic representation inspired by the event and may not depict the actual people\, location\, or activities shown. \n

SUMMARY:Middle of the Vines Vineyard Tour
DESCRIPTION:Middle of the Vines Vineyard Tour offers a relaxing\, all-inclusive way to explore the Connecticut Wine Trail without worrying about driving\, reservations\, or planning the day’s itinerary. Operating Thursday through Sunday during the summer\, Friday through Sunday in the fall\, and Saturday through Sunday during the winter\, the guided experience departs from Mystic and visits three carefully selected vineyards across southeastern Connecticut. \nGuests travel in a comfortable 15-passenger van to scenic wineries in communities including Stonington\, North Stonington\, Preston\, and Ledyard.
Each stop allows about an hour to enjoy the vineyard\, sample local wines or other beverages\, and take in Connecticut’s picturesque wine country. Every tour includes lunch from Sift Bake Shop\, one beverage at each winery\, bottled water\, and snacks\, creating a stress-free day designed for both visitors and local wine enthusiasts. \nBecause winery availability changes throughout the season\, destinations vary from tour to tour\, giving returning guests the opportunity to experience different vineyards throughout the year. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a unique day trip\, Middle of the Vines handles the transportation and planning so guests can relax and enjoy the journey. \nEvent Details\n\nEvent: Middle of the Vines Vineyard Tour\nSchedule:\n\nSummer: Thursday-Sunday\nFall: Friday-Sunday\nWinter: Saturday-Sunday\n\n\nTour Length: Approximately 5 hours\nDeparture: Mystic\, CT\nTransportation: Included**\nAge Requirement: 21+\nMeetup at Sift Bake Shop Mystic (see Venue at the bottom of the page)\n\nTour Highlights\nEach tour includes: \n\nGuided transportation aboard a 15-passenger van\nVisits to three Connecticut vineyards\nApproximately one hour at each winery\nScenic drives through southeastern Connecticut wine country\n\nTours may visit wineries in: \n\nStonington\nNorth Stonington\nPreston\nLedyard\n\nDestinations vary based on vineyard availability. \nWhat’s Included\nEvery ticket includes: \n\nRound-trip transportation\nVisits to three vineyards\nLunch from Sift Bake Shop\nOne beverage at each winery (wine\, beer\, cider\, or another available option)\nBottled water\nSnacks\n\nA Zero Proof ticket is also available for guests who prefer non-alcoholic beverages. \nReservations\nAdvance reservations are required. \nBecause lunch is prepared fresh by Sift Bake Shop\, bookings close at 6:00 p.m. the day before each tour. \nThe online booking system displays real-time availability\, allowing guests to see how many seats remain on each tour. \nTickets\nTickets are $165 per person. \nTo check availability and reserve your seat\, click the Event Ticketing link at the bottom of this page. \n  \n** You must provide your own transportation home.
