The festivities begin with morning activities on the Jordan Park Green before the annual parade steps off at 11 a.m.\, followed by family entertainment\, crafts\, food vendors\, and community celebrations throughout town. Families gather along Rope Ferry Road to cheer on marching groups\, community organizations\, first responders\, local businesses\, and civic leaders before spending the afternoon enjoying activities designed for visitors of all ages. \nWith free admission\, children’s entertainment\, food vendors\, and dozens of community organizations participating\, Waterford Day offers one of southeastern Connecticut’s largest hometown celebrations of the summer.
