Hosted by the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce in partnership with NORTH SWELL\, the free community event transforms the Mystic River into a floating gathering as participants launch from multiple locations and paddle to the west side of the river just north of the historic Mystic Bascule Bridge. \nMore than just a paddle rally\, FloatSwella combines outdoor recreation with live music and a lively waterfront atmosphere. Throughout the afternoon\, the band Red Lion will perform from a floating stage positioned on the river\, providing a soundtrack for paddlers and spectators alike.
