Emerging from New York City’s thriving club scene many years ago\, Popa quickly became recognized as a blistering performer with a wide array of influences. Sporting a style that has been described as “Muddy Waters meets Buddy Guy and runs over Joe Bonamassa with a rock-n-roll truck\,” Popa’s frenetic live shows include high-octane solos\, gritty vocals\, and plenty of entertainment value. \nFans of great guitar playing and straight-ahead blues rock will appreciate Popa Chubby’s unique style.
