This year’s event also features demo trail shoes from major running brands\, including Topo Athletic\, Altra\, and Saucony\, allowing runners to test footwear directly on the course. \nBeyond the race itself\, the event leans heavily into environmental education and community atmosphere. Native plant expert Jim Natale will lead a limited-space guided walk discussing both native and invasive species found along the trail route\, adding an educational layer for attendees interested in local ecology and conservation.
