Taking place from 5 to 8 p.m. on the Pavilion Lawn\, this beloved annual tradition transforms the Groton Long Point Yacht Club into an evening of carnival-style games\, inflatables\, activities\, and family fun for children and adults alike. \nOne of the yacht club’s signature summer events\, Family Night is packed with activities designed to keep kids entertained all evening. Families can enjoy bounce houses\, a giant obstacle course\, rock climbing wall\, Velcro wall\, bungee run\, SUMO wrestling\, dunk tank\, face painting\, crafts\, dancing\, a ball pit\, carnival games\, and more. Throughout the evening\, children can earn prizes while families relax and enjoy the festive atmosphere\, and at the end of the night\, enjoy the fireworks display. \nFood will be available for purchase\, or guests are welcome to bring their own picnic. Soft drinks\, cotton candy\, and snow cones will be provided\, making it easy to settle in for an evening of summer fun. Organizers ask that children under 10 remain accompanied by an adult or age-appropriate caregiver at all times for safety.
