DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join us at The Social Bar + Kitchen in New London\, CT\, on Saturday\, April 25\, 2026\, 8 PM for a fundraiser in memory of one of New London’s finest educators\, Cassandra “Cassie” Falvey.\n\nThis event will also serve as a fundraising effort to support graduating seniors from New London High School.\nThe evening will feature live music from the John Spignesi Band\, exciting raffle prizes graciously donated by Mohegan Sun\, the Hartford Yard Goats\, and the Garde Arts Center\, along with delicious food and beverages provided by The Social.\n\nCassandra “Cassie” Falvey was a dedicated educator at Bennie Dover Jackson Middle School\, who devoted her life to uplifting the youth of New London. Following her sudden and tragic passing in 2021\, her friends and family established the Cassie Falvey Memorial Scholarship in her honor.\n\nThis scholarship is awarded to graduating English learners from New London High School pursuing post-secondary education. Since its inception\, the scholarship has raised thousands of dollars to support students in the New London community\, culminating in a record award of $2\,000 in 2024. As we approach 2026 our goal is set higher than ever. \n\nYour participation in this event will contribute to a meaningful cause and ensure that Cassie’s legacy continues to positively impact the lives of students in our community\,
