SUMMARY:Blue Monday Concert Series
DESCRIPTION:Blue Monday Concert Series returns to Mystic River Park for its 20th season\, bringing four evenings of free live music to the heart of downtown Mystic. Held Monday evenings throughout July\, the popular summer tradition invites families\, friends\, and visitors to spread out a blanket\, pack a picnic\, and enjoy performances overlooking the Mystic River while supporting two organizations that make a difference in the local community. \nPresented as a fundraiser for the Stonington Education Fund and the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center\, the concert series has become much more than a summer music tradition. In 2025\, the free concerts raised more than $10\,000 through sponsorships and individual donations\, with proceeds benefiting the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center’s food bank and music education programs in Stonington Public Schools through the Stonington Education Fund. \nFrom blues and roots music to classic rock and Americana\, each Monday features a different band performing in the park’s scenic waterfront setting. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets\, enjoy a picnic dinner\, and relax with an evening of live music.
